Satchel's Pizza

Satchel's Pizza, is in Gainesville, FL.
Website:  http://satchelspizza.com/_mobile/index.html

We went there today for lunch, and I took a few shots.  It is a really unique, and cool place to go.  The pizza was rated, on a scale of 1-5, a 5.  Even the crust was good....
I truly is hard to believe that all of the following pictures are pretty much contained on this premises...

This was against the wall, in front of our car, where we parked.
Back corner of the parking lot (below)
This is a close-up of the picture afterward.  Some sort of sculpture....
This is a view further back, of the "what-ever"....
Why not?  A wall of CD's.  OK...DVD's.
Or, a wall of floopy disks....
This is a very large, size of a full grown adult, ... Duck.
OK, I'm giggling, still from the duck.  This is...well....some sort of ...well I truly don't know....!!!
These pictures (above) and below and following...are of their store, attached to the pizza joint...
A nice little nook, to have a pop.  Soda pop that is....

Another one of those artistic mosaic conglomerations that I cannot explain...

OK.  Clothespins, locks and an eagle.  Artists.  Go figure....
Above, a collection of clocks, on the wall.  Must have been a phase the artist was goin thru...
Below was on the wall.  Just sayin...it was a....well wasn't a mosiac...a tapestry?  No.....bad acid trip?

Note the tires on the ceiling below.  I just have no explanation for this.

You can actually eat in this VW bug.  And be served by a waitress.  They had some eating in here when we arrived.

Below is the view from our table.
Our table decor
The art at and near our table....

I still say it was a pretty cool place and it got saved because they have excellent pizza.  We will take you here Kelly when you come to visit.  You'll love it.
