Nappanee, Indiana

Here are some random pictures we took around the Town.
This is just a house I took a liking to.  I liked the different architecturial surfaces used.
All day long, we have our horse and buggies.
Saturday's are busy at the town markets.
(Below) both of these young men were dressed alike, I was impressed.  They were so cute in their suspenders, and hats.  Gotta love it.

(Below):  I wonder if they go thru the McDonald's drive-thru in their buggies?
(Below):  And also bike's!  Bicyclists' are everywhere.  The Amish do not drive cars.  We had to be careful not to hit them, or the buggies.
Now what is that thing?!?

Added:  My friend, Meemur, sent me this picture of this crop sprayer for corn when it is extended.  Here it is:

I love the laid back feeling I get just being here.
(Below) The Amish build some beautiful barns...

We took a ride into the outskirts in search for a Farmer's Market and fresh produce...

We never did find it.  The address that we had just produced a home with some farms but no stand.
Back to town we went.  (Below):  What is different about this picture?      (No powerlines).
(Below):  We had lunch at a historic old Barn.

  1. That tractor on big wheels is used to spray chemicals on the corn.
