The next few nights we will be spending somewhere on the Road. And then, after 6 weeks, we will return home. I know the cats will be happy. And Tucker will be running free thru the woods before you know it.
This trip was one we both will never forget. An adventure we never expected, full of wonder and surprises.
At our age, that is extra special!!!
We will be attending the Hillbilly Hoedown, thru the WIT (Winnebago/Itasca Travelers) Club on the weekend of August 23rd. It will be thru the New Hampshire State Chapter, the Winnies. We've met some of them back in June of this year, and since then we have 9 new rigs to join the club. We're looking forward to seeing our new acquaintences again, and I'll be bringing the camera.
Thanks everyone for traveling along with us in spirit, and keeping in touch with us while we were on the road. You'll never know how much we appreciate it!!
Till Then

Mackinaw City/Mackinac Island KOA, Michigan
566 Trailsend Road, Mackinaw City, MI (231) 436-5643
http://koa.com/campgrounds/mackinaw-city/
This campground is located just south (1 mile) of the Mackinaw Bridge. We crossed the Bridge going up the Peninsula of Michigan on our way out West.
Here's a pic of it. The Mackinac Bridge is currently the third longest suspension bridge in the world. The bridge opened to traffic on November 1, 1957.
Some quick facts on the Bridge: http://www.mackinacbridge.org/facts--figures-16/
This is a nice Campground. It does not have sewer. The showers here are nice.
Spaces are a bit tight for our rig. There was a line out to the road of incoming campers about an hour ago.
See the leaves are already turning (below)

Albert Lea KOA, MN
84259 County Rd 46, Hayward, MN
(507) 373-5170
Edited: I added a picture of their swimming pool
Right off I-90, we went down a short private road, with a natural canopy of tree limbs
which opened up to the Campground. Well kept, clean and spacious.
The Office
Pool - Olympic-sized, 11 ft at deep end, cool temp.
Cabins
Mature trees. This is a field.
Place is pretty empty. These are some campers
"Daisy" lookin good! Truth be, she is filthy. Towels in the pine tree is Jim's handywork (let them dry off) from washing off the front of her.

Coach: Newmar King Aire
This is another coach that we saw at the Campsite. This Coach probably goes for $800,000 - $900,000.00 That's just the Coach. They are made to order. Custom. The Trailer has to be at least another $50-75,000. Then the bikes that have been detailed with the same design....I think this is the 1% I keep hearing so much about...

Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan, Wyoming
1105 Joe St, Sheridan, WY 82801
(307) 673-0597 http://www.wyomingrvpark.com/
This park is a definite keeper. Clean, and the Owner is very personable.
In the shot below you can see the car on I90 in the background. Park is very quiet.
You can't make it out below, but Peter D has made a huge fenced in dog run.
The biggest one I've seen anywhere.
This next shot below is of the Park the next morning. They had a "no vacancy" by days end. Peter D's is a well maintained and easily accessible park.
It was also Tucker's Birthday, so he had leftover Steak in celebration. Here he is in the dog run. He's such a handsome boy.
The Sheridan Trolley stops by on the hour, and we took it on tour thru the Town
We took it to Wyoming's Rib & Chop House and had a meal that was exceptionally good. The Chef is from New Orleans & they have won awards for their ribs, which I had. Jim had the Lamb chops.
No pool, and the lots were narrow. But for an overnight, this park was fine at $36.
