A Safari at Animal Kingdom

Transforming 500 acres of Florida wetlands into the world’s largest animal-themed park was no small task. Every single detail of this jungle paradise was carefully thought out, each habitat painstakingly re-created for an authentic, natural look and feel. Discover how Disney Imagineers transport you to faraway lands inhabited by magnificent animals through the use of native art and architecture, indigenous flora, genuine historical artifacts and a dash of Disney storytelling. Your guide will provide real-time insights on everything you see—including hidden Mickeys—through an electronic headset.

The safari covers over 110 acres.

A theater is housed inside the Tree of Life root system where It’s Tough to be a Bug! is performed. This 8-minute, 3D movie and multimedia show stars Flik and Hopper from the Disney•Pixar film A Bug's Life—along with a supporting cast of insects and arachnids who provide a surprising glimpse into the animal kingdom.

Termite Mounds (also known as "termitaria"[7]) occur when an above ground nest grows beyond its initially concealing surface. They are commonly called “ant hills” in Africa and Australia, despite the technical incorrectness of that name.

Termite Mound:  The shape ranges from somewhat amorphous domes or cones usually covered in grass and/or woody shrubs, to sculptured hard-earth mounds, or a mixture of the two. Despite the irregular mound shapes, the different species in an area can usually be identified by simply looking at the mounds.

Since 2008, there has been increasing interest for developing baobab seeds or dried fruit powder for consumer products.[7][8] As of 2010, the potential international market was estimated at $1 billion per year.  Wikipedia.
