Frontier Days, Rodeo, Cheyenne, Wyoming

We went to Frontier Days, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Here are some pictures we took of the fairgrounds and the Rodeo.

CHUCKWAGON COOKOFF:   Authentic chuckwagon crews as they give a glimpse into life on the Goodnight Trail more than 100 years ago.
This is a "Chuck Wagon" Exhibit.  They have a competition for the food they cook with authenticity
Crews are given a standard set of ingredients, then judged on not only the wide range of foods produced, but also on wagon, tools, and campsite.

Demonstration cooking takes place each day of the cookoff and the Championship Cookoff takes place on the final day.

U.S.Navy Leap Frogs

This Bull turned and debated charging one of the men

Look at him!  These guys do a great job keeping the bulls from stomping on a fallen Rider

He's like..."no...you don't wanna do that Bull....."

He is now departing the Bull...

Lookin down at a sea of hats...

Now that might be the best picture I captured all day!

He is taking the back door out.....(yes, that's the rider)

We are going back to the Rodeo again today, after our Pancake Breakfast in Downtown Cheyenne.
