We got the levelers fixed today. So we finally got the slides out. Jack the repairman, is also the traveling repairman for a Foretravel club. Foretravels are made here in Texas. He was in Maine, at Bailey's Campground the same time we were last Summer. They had a rally of Foretravelers who did the Apalachian Trail. He was there, so were we. We had book a week there (pictures are here on this blog). What a small world.
I guess the Foretravels don't have slides (at least the older models). Here is a picture I got from the above link, that shows one of the Foretravels with no slides. It is sort of what we were living like, before we just got the leveler fixed. It was the electrical selonid and we are good to go. I will take slides any day!!! Here is one without:
