Yesterday, we walked the Frontier Days Fair, and went past the Chuckwagons.  We love the chuckwagons.  Where will we ever see anything like this again?  "They give a glimpse into life on the Goodnight Trail more than 100 years ago."  "Crews are given a standard set of ingredients, then judged on not only the wide range of foods produced, but also on wagon, tools, and campsite."  They had their competition and were getting their pictures taken.  The wagon below tied for 1st place with another. The menu they all had to make was Chicken Fried Steak, Potato (of their choice), Sour Dough Bisquits & Cobbler.

I took detailed pictures of this 1st place winner.  As you can see, they also won last year.  The smaller plaques below the large one are this year's.  1st place in each category.

Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum

The Museum features some of the most intriguing western artifacts in the region including one of the most extensive collections of carriages west of the Mississippi.

Here are some pictures I took while we visited yesterday:
This Statue is outside the entrance.  It deserved 3 different shots.
