I was over at the Office, getting some free coffee when I overheard the lady talking to some new campers that just arrived. This is a fun packed KOA. They have an Ice Cream Social, Breakfast at "Starvin Marvin's" if you don't want to cook. And they have a "Candy Hunt" where they throw down candy at night, and the kids bring their flashlights to hunt for it. Sounds like fun for kids.

WOW looks nice. We have found many KOA's that are not too swift....
ReplyDeleteThis is a KOA that is recommended by us.
ReplyDeleteWe found out why there pool is 85 degrees. It is filled by a natural hot spring that runs thru here. I just discovered it walking Tucker this morning, and it's full and running well. I couldn't get too close to check out it's temperature. They say it is HOT, and they have to stop refilling it with the hot spring and use their well, because the pool will get too hot. The pool water is hot. She said alot of their customers w/their kids come from the North, where it's cold, and they like it hot....I found it too hot to even bother going in to refresh.
Yes, that looks like a great campground! I haven't stayed at many KOAs but I can appreciate the "not so swift" comment. We have a few of those in Ohio and Michigan, unfortunately. Meemur
ReplyDeleteI was back in the office (getting another "free" cup of jo) and I was talking away to the lady. I complimented her on how clean and friendly the KOA was. She said they have 12 staff and they could use more. The guy who would cook breakfast every morning had a cooks outfit complete with a tall chefs hat. I would see him walking back to the office when it was over, spatula in hand. A great family oriented KOA. Definitely recommended.
ReplyDeletePretty nice, it sure looks like a great place specially when you are with your family.
