Yellowstone Park: North West Quadrant

These pictures are taken as we first entered Yellowstone Park. We drove into Madison, up to Norris, on to Mammouth Hot Springs. We had lunch. Then we ventured over to Roosevelt and came South down to Canyon Village. Back to Norris, and Madison and out. Tomorrow, we are taking in the South West Quadrant which will include Old Faithful. Hope you enjoy these.









Below, look how tiny the cars are. Gives you an idea of how massive it was.







There was a massive wildfire in 1988. These Plaques will explain it, and also why there is so much fallen trees everywhere. Here's a pic of the fallen trees, and then the plaques.





We are in a drought also this year.
